Why am I unable to login to mygate application?
If you're facing trouble logging in to the mygate app, especially when using your mobile number or email ID, it might be due to a mismatch between the credentials entered and what is already registered in our system. Here’s what could be happening and how you can resolve it:
Scenario: Error – "Email ID already registered"
If you see this error, it means:
- The mobile number you entered is not registered with mygate.
- As a result, the app assumes you're a new user and opens the sign-up page, prompting you to enter your name and email ID.
- However, when you submit the sign-up form, you get an error stating that your email ID already exists—this happens because your email is already registered on mygate with a different mobile number.
How to resolve:
- Instead of signing up again, go back and use your registered email ID on the login screen.
- This will redirect you to the correct login flow.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered email ID and linked mobile number to access the app.
Similarly, you may face the same issue with the Error message "Mobile number already exists" while trying to log in using your mail ID that is not registered with mygate. To resolve this, you will have to go back to the login screen and use your mobile number to log in to the app.
