What to do if society admin is not approving my move-out request?

MyGate cannot directly intervene in society admin decisions regarding move-out approvals, as this is managed at the society level. Move-out requests typically take 1-2 days for approval. If it's taking longer, there may be pending actions or the admin needs a reminder.


To check and manage your move-out request:


Access the section - Go to Settings (located in the top right corner of the landing/social page) and scroll down until you find "Manage Flats"


Select your flat - Under "Manage Flats," select the flat for which you submitted the move-out request


Send a reminder - If it's been more than 2 days, use the "Send Reminder" feature to notify the society admin about your pending request



Check for pending requirements - Contact your society office to verify if there are any outstanding actions needed from your side, such as pending payments or clearances


Approach society admin directly - If reminders don't work, speak with them in person to discuss your move-out request and ask them to approve it in the system


Last resort option - If the society admin remains unresponsive after multiple attempts and reminders, you can delete the move-out request and then delete your flat profile from the system



Important: Use the deletion option with caution and only as a final measure, as removing your flat profile may affect other users connected to your unit, such as your property owner if you are a tenant.


We recommend trying the reminder feature and checking with the society office first before considering other approaches.
