Why I am receiving OTP without any login activity?
If you've received a One-Time Password (OTP) from mygate without attempting to log in yourself, it may seem concerning. Here's what you need to know about why this happens and how to handle it securely.
Why Did I Receive an OTP?
Mygate sends an OTP when someone tries to log in using your registered mobile number or email ID. This could happen if:
- Someone mistakenly entered your number while trying to log in.
- Someone intentionally attempted to access your account.
What Should I Do?
- Do not share the OTP with anyone.
- Your account is safe unless the OTP is entered and verified.
- Consider changing your registered mobile number or email ID if you receive repeated, unauthorized OTPs.
Your Security Is Our Priority
Mygate is committed to safeguarding your data. OTPs are part of our secure login process, and your account remains protected as long as you don’t share the code.
