Why I am not able to create pre-approval?
Mygate offers residents the ability to create frequent entry profiles for visitors. Once residents set up frequent entries, they no longer need to manually approve them each time. When the guard enters the visitor's details into the app for that particular flat, the entry is automatically approved. The resident will only receive a notification about the visitor's arrival, without the need to approve the entry each time.
If you are not able to create pre-approval, there can be limited reasons:
1. If you are registered as an owner and the flat occupancy is set to "Let Out" or "Empty," neither the owner nor their family will have the option to raise a pre-approval request. Similarly, if you are registered as a tenant or multi-tenant and the flat occupancy is marked as "Currently Residing" (Owner) or "Empty," tenants and their families will not have the option to raise a pre-approval request via the application.
Solution: Owners can directly update the occupancy status of their flat through the application. Tenants, however, will need to contact the respective flat owner to request a change in the occupancy status to "Let Out."
2. The pre-approval feature is a settings-based option that can be disabled by the society management for the entire society. When disabled, residents will no longer have the option to raise pre-approval requests through the application.
Solution: You can reach out to the society admin for further details.
