I have advance balance, how can I use it to clear my dues?

The Mygate app provides residents with the flexibility to pay their dues against raised invoices as well as make advance payments for future use. While residents can easily add funds to their advance balance through the app, it's important to note that applying this advance amount toward clearing pending dues cannot be done directly by the resident. Instead, the society management or admin team is responsible for adjusting the advance balance against any outstanding invoices. 


How Advance Balance Settlement Works

For your advance balance to be adjusted against outstanding dues, the society admin must enable the option "Settle from Advance" while raising the invoice. When this option is enabled, your dues will automatically be settled based on the settlement date defined by the admin, which could be either the charge date/ invoice date or the due date of the invoice.


What Should You Do?

If you have an advance balance and wish to use it to clear your dues, we kindly request you to connect with your society admin. The admin can manually settle your outstanding dues against your flat’s advance balance from their mygate admin dashboard.
