The payment is showing as pending, even though I have already paid my maintenance bill. What could be the reason?

Mygate offers residents the convenience of making various payments directly through the Mygate resident application. This includes payments for society maintenance bills, flat advance payments, and prepaid meter recharges. The platform provides a seamless and efficient way for residents to manage their financial obligations to society, all from the convenience of their mobile devices.

If your payment shows as pending even after you've paid your maintenance bill, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some possible reasons:

1. Transaction Failure: Several factors can cause a transaction to fail, even if the amount has been debited from your account. These issues may include expired payment cards, insufficient funds, network connectivity problems, limits on your payment method, bank server errors, or technical issues with the payment gateway. In the event of a failed transaction, rest assured that a refund will be initiated by the bank and processed within 5 to 7 working days.

2. Society charges module: If a resident has made a payment using the society charges module, the maintenance payment may still appear as "due" in the system.

In Mygate, "Society Charges" and "Society Dues" are two separate modules. Residents should use the Society Dues module to pay their maintenance bills, flat advance payments, and other related charges. By using this option, residents will receive receipts directly in their application, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment process.
