My amount is debited but not credited to society account?

Mygate offers residents a smooth and efficient way to pay their society maintenance fees through the app, streamlining the payment process. With this feature, residents can easily make payments, and the system automatically generates and provides receipts for each transaction.


If your amount has been debited but not credited to the society account, here are some possible reasons:


1. Processing Time: According to the process, payments made via the mygate app typically take T+1 days to be credited to the society bank account. This includes any bank holidays, meaning if there’s a holiday, the amount will be credited after that.


2. Transaction Failure: Issues such as expired payment cards, insufficient funds, network issues, payment method limits, bank server problems, or payment gateway issues could cause the transaction to fail, even though the amount was debited. In case of a failed transaction, a refund will be processed by the bank within 5 to 7 working days.
