How do I add a tenant to my flat?

The add Tenant feature in the Mygate app allows flat owners to seamlessly register their tenants, ensuring smooth access to society services. This function helps maintain accurate records, enhances security, and allows tenants to use mygate features like visitor approvals, amenity bookings, society communication, helpdesk, and others.


Please note that if you are letting out your flat to the tenant and want to add those details in the Mygate app, then kindly follow the below workflow accordingly.


1. Click on the Settings option on the top right corner of the screen

2. Scroll down to the "Manage Flats" section and click on the flat number

3. Click on "Occupancy Status," select the "Let Out" option, and click on Save

4. Go back to the Settings page and click on "Manage" against the "Household Section"

5. Under "My Tenant," click on "Add", fill in the required details, and save it.


Once the tenant is added, the owner cannot access entry/exit logs or use any other feature of the app except the Community section. This is done to respect the privacy of the tenant.


    


    



Note: If you don’t see the option to add a tenant, it may be restricted by the society admin. In such cases, please contact your society management for further assistance.
