My notification settings are ‘ON’, I’m still not getting any notifications.

Check you have notifications ‘ON’ for the app in the phone operating system. 

Android: Go to Settings > Apps > MyGate. Confirm that no notifications are blocked

iOS: Go to Settings > MyGate. Confirm that no notifications are blocked
